Tom Allen

他寫了本篇文章(The eyes have it),刊登在加拿大CBCnews網站,文章網址:『http://www.cbc.ca/canada/story/2009/04/22/f-vp-allen.html』。

Tom Allen is a famous author.

He wrote this article (The eyes have it), and published it on the CBCnews website. The article's URL is "http://www.cbc.ca/canada/story/2009/04/22/f-vp-allen.html".

Some main points :

1."In that way, a zebrafish's eyes work exactly like ours except that a zebrafish has stem cells that will replace its photoreceptors if they are damaged. They can shift from blindness to vision with nothing more than clean water, food and a few weeks to recover".

2."Allison is hoping to isolate exactly which of the zebrafishes' genes instruct those stem cells to do their miraculous work, in the hope that he could eventually do the same for humans".

If you want to read the detailed article, please visit the URL : "http://www.cbc.ca/canada/story/2009/04/22/f-vp-allen.html".

Thanks for Tom Allen's , one member of the CBCnews, inserting this photo (Fig. 02) into this article (Fig. 01).
